Tawnie Fariñez is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Settle In Cayman, a relocation and lifestyle concierge service shaped by both professional expertise and real-life experience.
She began her career in hospitality at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, where she developed a strong foundation in exceptional service, attention to detail, and a genuine understanding of what people need, often before they even ask. Over time, her experience expanded to include 15 years of customer service training, client relations, and property management, all centered on creating seamless, well-managed experiences.
Her perspective, however, was most deeply shaped by the 8+ years she and her family spent living abroad in Panama, Spain, and Ireland. Each move was driven by a desire for growth, a broader worldview, and a better lifestyle for her family. Along the way, she personally navigated every part of the relocation process, from securing homes and schools to understanding healthcare systems, residency requirements, and the nuances of daily life in a new country.
In two of these moves, Tawnie had the support of a relocation expert, and it made a lasting impact. Having someone to guide them not only made the transition faster and far less stressful, but also provided invaluable insight into cultural nuances and social expectations; things they simply wouldn’t have known on their own. That experience shaped her understanding of what truly makes a move successful.
Now back home in the Cayman Islands, Tawnie has brought together her professional background and personal journey to create a service that is both highly organized and genuinely supportive. She understands that moving is more than logistics; it’s a whole life transition, filled with both excitement and uncertainty.
Her approach is rooted in partnership. She works closely with each client to ensure they feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way, from the earliest planning stages through to settling into everyday life.
